Emergency Radiology Fellowship

Our emergency radiology fellowship is a one-year program designed to provide exposure to a large breadth of emergency imaging, including trauma and acute disease processes. UMMC is the only level 1 trauma center and the only academic center in Mississippi, providing a large volume and range of pathology across multiple modalities.

Also, participation in outside emergency radiology educational activities is encouraged, including the American Society of Emergency Radiology. The large volume and range of emergency imaging, combined with independent interpretation and available staff consultation will provide excellent preparation for academic or private practice.
